In one jump a frog is across the pond and gone, and the Series 28 suit catches the animal at its most cartoonish, with the pop eyes and wide grin doing all the work.

About this minifigure
Minifigure proportions suit a frog unusually well. A big head on a short body looks natural here, rather than a compromise between the animal's shape and the form of a brick. It is also one of the most cartoonish and least serious characters in the set.
For younger children it is a safe pick. Nothing about it is frightening or sharp in expression, and the intense green means it surfaces quickly in a tub of bricks. Any parent who has ever hunted for a lost minifigure in poor light will appreciate that last point.
Frogs have mostly appeared in LEGO as small, one-piece creatures from castle and swamp sets, so a full-size costume is a different category altogether, and this entry means more to a collection than the simplicity of the idea suggests. On display the Frog naturally sits close to the Dolphin and the Goldfish — the watery corner of the series.
