Lord Farquaad
Lord Farquaad measures everything in Duloc against the rulebook, except himself.

LEGO prints a different code for each production batch and region, which is why one item has several. The scanner recognises all 3.
About this minifigure
Duloc runs like a theme park under his management: everything clean, everything level, everything by the letter, so the fairytale characters are dumped beyond the town limits for spoiling the view. He wants to be king, a king needs a princess, and that is why he sends Shrek after Fiona. The insults the two of them trade carry half the first film.
Parents may want to know that this is the villain figure, which often makes it the most wanted one, since play falls apart quickly without an opponent. Farquaad is funny rather than frightening, so there is nothing heavy here and he suits younger children too.
For anyone rebuilding the first film he is essential. Duloc makes no sense without its lord, and the tournament scene needs him planted in the middle, ideally with Thelonious at his side, since between them they are the entire court.
Did you know: He was voiced by John Lithgow, and his end in the film is notably unceremonious: Dragon eats him.
