About this minifigure
For half the first film she does exactly what a dragon is expected to do, right up until the chase turns into courtship and the monster becomes one of the most loyal characters in the series. By the second film the pair have offspring of their own, the famous Dronkeys.
This is a figure of a different calibre altogether: not one more character in a hat, but a large creature that takes the lead by default, working equally well as an opponent and as a mount. Children tend to ask about the dragon before anything else in the set.
Non-humanoid pieces in minifigure waves follow their own rules. They are harder to track down for a full set, but visible from across the room once a display is arranged. If a row is missing something, this is not the gap anyone will overlook.
