About this minifigure
In Shrek 2 she runs a potion factory and has the ear of the court in Far Far Away, all of it serving one very specific plan: putting her son, Prince Charming, on the throne. Her Holding Out for a Hero number is among the best-remembered scenes in the series.
If somebody at home collects villains, this is a top-shelf entry. A villain in candy colours plays quite differently from a monster with fangs, and for the youngest she is simply a fairy with a wand, which works well outside the film too.
In a row on a shelf what matters is the pair. Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming only tell the story of the second and third films together, and one without the other leaves an obvious hole in the collection.
Did you know: "Holding Out for a Hero", as performed by the Fairy Godmother, is a cover of Bonnie Tyler's 1984 hit.
