Robot Butler
Out of the era when robots came boxy, bolted together and topped with a glass dome comes this one, carrying a pan and a whisk where a blaster would normally go.

About this minifigure
In space stories, robots tend to be a threat or a weapon. This one is staff. The whole figure rests on the joke of a mechanical butler whipping cream with unshakeable courtesy while something considerably more interesting than afternoon tea goes on outside the window. Bulb eyes under the dome and a printed chest panel do the rest.
For children he makes a rewarding supporting character — he fits any base, any onboard galley and any mealtime scene, and often ends up playing the comic grown-up. He neither frightens nor shoots, so he works well for younger players too.
Collectors buy him for the styling: all mechanics on show, not a trace of the sleek modern android. In Series 26 he bridges the retro figures and the newer machines, and he looks best standing precisely between the two camps.
Did you know: Instead of a weapon, the robot was given a pan of whipped cream and a whisk — galley kit, in a space-themed series.
