Retro Space Heroine

LEGO Series 26 — Space · 71046 No. 4

Before anyone had seen a photograph from the surface of Mars, illustrators drew rockets with fins and spacesuits in colours no engineer would have approved. This heroine belongs to that era, down to the pinks and blues, the pearl-gold blaster and the robot dog at her heel.

Data Matrix codes: Retro Space Heroine

One of these codes is printed on the bottom of the box, next to the barcode.

LEGO prints a different code for each production batch and region, which is why one item has several. The scanner recognises all 3.

About this minifigure

The figure never pretends to be realistic for a moment. Everything about it is deliberately old-fashioned — the shape of the helmet, the contrasting colours, the way the weapon is held. Even the blaster looks like a comic-book prop rather than a real weapon.

Children usually go for the companion first. The mechanical dog turns a single minifigure into a small story, and a parent hunting for a specific present gets two pieces of play in one box. The dog holds its own on a shelf too, alongside the other brick-built animals.

Collectors treat her as part of a family rather than a lone exhibit. She looks excellent beside retro spacemen from earlier waves and beside the classic blue-and-white LEGO spacemen, forming a crew from an era that never happened. On a shelf she earns her place easily.

Did you know: The heroine comes with a mechanical dog, and her blaster is moulded in pearl gold.
