Nurse Android

LEGO Series 26 — Space · 71046 No. 6
💉

What a station full of aliens, mutants and machines still needs is somebody to look after everybody. Series 26 answers with a medical android in white and blue, transparent arms and all, carrying a tiny pink space baby.

Data Matrix codes: Nurse Android

One of these codes is printed on the bottom of the box, next to the barcode.

LEGO prints a different code for each production batch and region, which is why one item has several. The scanner recognises all 3.

About this minifigure

Nothing about this figure threatens anyone: no weapon, no mutation, just medical kit and a small patient. It is the warm one in a box that otherwise runs to monsters and mutants, and it settles the question of who exactly keeps the crew on its feet.

Few figures suit younger children better, or parents who prefer caring games to space shoot-outs. The android-and-baby pairing works exactly like a doctor and patient, only with an orbital station for a backdrop. Check-ups and feeding times follow on their own.

Collectors value something else. A robot that is neither menacing nor straining to be funny is a rare thing, and the white, the blue and the transparent elements mean it sits happily in a cabinet beside medical figures from other waves and beside the rescue gear from LEGO City.

Did you know: The back of the android's head is printed with a charging socket and its body with a battery gauge — even the nurse needs topping up occasionally.
