About this minifigure
Charlotte lives with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a connective-tissue condition that affects the joints. Rather than standing in her way, it became part of how she fights: webbing combined with acrobatics and with equipment normally associated with restricted movement. The whole character is built around a simple thought — that being a hero does not require one particular kind of body.
The publisher folded her into canon once that fan version caught on. She has appeared in the spider-world comics since 2022, and turned up in the second film among the heroes summoned from across the dimensions.
It is hard to name a second minifigure like her anywhere in LEGO's catalogue, so collectors place this one high on the list. For parents it also offers a natural way into a conversation about heroes coming in very different shapes.
