About this minifigure
The character debuted in 2011 in the Ultimate comics universe, shortly after Marvel killed off that world's Peter Parker. The wider public only met him with the 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse — he is the lead there, and his black-and-red suit has become one of the most recognisable costumes in all of Marvel.
Two abilities set him apart from the other spiders, and Peter never had either: camouflage, which lets him drop out of sight completely, and a paralysing discharge known as the venom strike. In the multiverse story Miles is the fixed point. Both films orbit him, and in the second he turns out to be a problem the Spider Society cannot solve.
In series 71050 that makes him the natural place to start a collection. If someone at home is hunting one specific packet, the odds are good it is this one — which is precisely when scanning the code earns its keep.
Did you know: Miles was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli, and first appeared in Ultimate Fallout #4.
