Sauber
Sauber has held its ground among manufacturer teams the way an independent shop holds its ground beside the chains, and from 2026 it races as Audi's works entry.
Data Matrix codes: Sauber
One of these codes is printed on the bottom of the box, next to the barcode.

LEGO prints a different code for each production batch and region, which is why one item has several. The scanner recognises all 3.
About this minifigure
Sauber is one of Formula 1's genuinely independent stories: a private team from a small town outside Zurich that spent years measuring itself against factory giants. A good number of drivers passed through its garage on the way to careers with the front-runners. The name changed over time along with the sponsors, but Hinwil stayed fixed.
The bright green and black scheme of recent seasons translates unusually well into bricks. The colour is distinctive enough that nobody confuses this car with its neighbours, and a model picked up on a whim often ends up among the ones people look at longest.
For fans there is one more thread: the team is preparing for the biggest change in its history, so the brick version freezes the moment just before it. For anyone picking and choosing rather than buying all twelve, this makes a good first pick.
Did you know: Sauber has raced in Formula 1 since 1993, and from the 2026 season it becomes the Audi works team.
