Red Bull RB20

Most households know Red Bull as a drink in a slim silver can long before they know it as a racing team, and this navy and red model from Milton Keynes belongs entirely to that second life.

Data Matrix codes: Red Bull RB20

One of these codes is printed on the bottom of the box, next to the barcode.

LEGO prints a different code for each production batch and region, which is why one item has several. The scanner recognises all 3.

About this minifigure

RB20 is Red Bull Racing's 2024 car, the successor to the RB19 that had won almost everything there was to win the year before. Navy blue with red and yellow accents and bull silhouettes on the sidepods, it is recognisable even to someone who has never sat through a whole race. The brick version is small, has rolling wheels, and carries a minifigure head in a team-coloured helmet in the cockpit.

Children ask about this model before the box is even open. If Verstappen is the household favourite, the hunt starts right here, which is exactly why the disappointment lands hard when somebody else turns up inside.

It also holds up on its own, well away from the grid. Red Bull's livery is among the most consistent in Formula 1 and changes only cosmetically from season to season, so the car on a desk will stay recognisable for a long while.

Did you know: The RB20 is the car in which Max Verstappen took his fourth world title in a row in 2024.
