About this vehicle
It does not dig and it does not lift. It carries. Everything the Excavator and the Wheel Loader throw out of their buckets lands in its bed and rides to the far end of the site, then comes back empty for the next lot. It sets the tempo, too, since the rest of the crew stands there with full buckets until the truck returns.
Two things move on the model. The bed lifts and dumps its load, and no one has ever needed instructions to find that function. The cab end steers as well, so a run across the carpet does not have to be a straight line.
Parents can treat it as the safe bet whenever a child picks machines by what they can actually be made to do. Collectors, meanwhile, tend to appreciate that an entire tipping mechanism fits into a box the size of a palm. No other model in this set gets rid of its own load.
