About this minifigure
Children know the gym and the aerobics studio from their parents' stories or from the local club, which is exactly why the figure slides so easily into city play. A mat and a couple of dumbbells made from small elements finish the studio, and the instructor has something to do immediately.
For collectors it is another entry in the growing cast of ordinary people LEGO builds up series by series. Characters like this populate a city better than another knight does, and they are what big dioramas tend to be short of. Together with the Sprinter it forms a small sporting duo.
Nothing here is difficult: it is obvious at a glance who this is and what they do. The figure makes a decent present for an active child, and a quiet joke for an adult who has just taken out a membership.
